Is there anything more inspiring than seeing other peoples homes decked out in cozy fall decor? I just love seeing how everyone styles pumpkins, leaves, blankets, coffee, and anything else that screams, “happy fall”. This blog hop is all about the “brilliant colors of fall” so I hope you find some inspiration and enjoy the tour. Hopefully, you have already been to my friend Susan’s (Tablefor5please) Fall Home Tour. If you haven’t seen hers yet I highly recommend it.
Welcome
Welcome to my fall home tour. Grab some coffee and let’s get this tour started! My family and I recently moved into a new home. We moved into a fixer upper because we have so many projects and ideas we want to implement into this house to make it our own. We have a couple spaces that we have already curated, it is always so magical finally getting to decorate a home for a special season. It is even more fun to get to share the spaces with you today.
Fall Kitchen
We just completely renovated the kitchen so styling the open shelving for fall just completely made my day. For fall I like to make every room feel really inviting. I do that by adding warm tones and cozy textures. On the shelves I added my copper pan collection, a warm textured basket, and some brown clay pitchers. For my fall decor this year I wanted to stick to warm tones with touches of greenery or straw from nature. Any type of greenery always adds a freshness or a whimsical feeling to a space, and I love that. So I added a pothos to my copper strainer and a couple mums to silver buckets. Mixing metals is another way to add an interest to any space. There are just a few easy fall decorating tips.
Fall Dining Room
We did have a half wall right where the table is at. We ripped it down recently and man oh man did it open up this space. I love how the dining room is now right off of our kitchen. We also just added this crystal chandelier and I love the pop of vintage it adds. Decorating doesn’t have to be hard. Sometimes subtle changes make a big statement.
I wanted a change for our table so I added the leaf back in and I found this green and white lace table runner. Can you believe it is a thrifted find! I love it when thrifted items help with seasonal decor.
Fall Coffee Bar
This coffee bar area is seriously one of my favorite parts of our home. We use it daily, and usually more than once. I still have ideas for this space, but for now it is functional and I am thankful for it. To add a touch of fall I added this antique chair (another thrifted find) and this embroidered pumpkin spice pillow. I am really liking the dried out straw look. The natural texture of it just gets me. So I needed something for the little space above the table so I went to the thrift store and found an outdated $3.00 wreath and took the extras off of it and then added some of the dried straw for fall. This was such a fun and easy project that adds a touch of fall to this area.
As soon as fall hits I instantly want to bake all the things. So I ended up making my Grandmas recipe of Peanut Butter Sheet Cake (recipe here). I used some fall cookie cutters to shape the cake into leaves, pumpkins, etc.
Fall Living Room
It isn’t fall without some yummy candles burning and cozy blankets and pillows all over! I know a lot of you will recognize these fall pillows from my Instagram stories. I think they just add the perfect colors of fall to our living room.
I hope you all have been enjoying the first couple days of fall already! Please don’t forget that decorating does not have to be expensive or hard. Simply adding a small touch of fall to a space can really make a room feel warm and cozy! I love your rustic touches of fall! The grasses in the basket is a lovely touch!

Mansa, thank you so much! I saw some of that grass at Hobby Lobby, and then I found a grass bundle at the thrift store so it was fun to throw them in this basket for a simple fall touch!
