Hey guys! Today in Indiana we had the most beautiful snow fall. I am so glad I could just stay at home today and enjoy it from the warmth of my home. Although it is for sure still winter outside I decided it was time for some spring vibes here inside our home. I was truly inspired by my new scroll from my friends over at @BoxedHomeDecor
I also can’t get over floral prints. Random, any colored (what! color!?!) floral print. I have been collecting them for awhile now and decided it was time to showcase some of them on our mantle. So I framed out my new scroll with four floral prints.
If you are feeling super unmotivated to clean or style a certain room. Go take a visit to the grocery store or your local florist shop and snag yourself some beautiful flowers. There tulips completely motivated and inspired me to give this room a spring refresh. I think these tulips are the most beautiful color I have ever seen in a flower. They are a soft peach-pink.
Thankfully some of my floral prints have pink in them so that really helped me tie in the tulips for this space. Do you see this sweet pup! She is always snuggling up somewhere warm these days, I know she appreciated the fire we had going.
Look at this garden decor shovel I found at the thrift store a couple months ago. Although the painting on the shovel itself is pretty cute I decided to take off the welcome to my garden pieces. I am now using them as little signs for my spring decor. I debated back and forth at the thrift store. Putting the shovel in my cart. Taking the shovel out of my cart. I am so thankful I ended up keeping it in my cart because the little signs are so cute.
For now I put them here on this big window frame. I feel like they tell a story. Like they have lived in someones garden for thirty years. They make the space feel more authentic I think. I love the added pop of black and white, and the rustic accent they bring to the space. Besides the fact that I just love what they say.
While I was at work in here I decided it was time to switch up the decor I had on the hutch. I wanted it to look more simple so I stuck to using a lot of my white plate collection and my white pitcher collection. Then for a little pop I displayed my copper collection here on the bottom shelf.
Overall I feel like this is a pretty simple, clean, and fresh spring styled room which is my favorite feeling for spring.
