Use This Idea To Decorate A Plain Wall

We have this new blank wall in Amelias room. I tried to do a fun sponge painted wall in here, but it was such a fail. I mean, it was ugly. Like U.G.L.Y. So it had to go. Nobody wants to buy a new home with an ugly orange sponge paint on it. So you better believe I painted that wall a crisp and clean white. Wow it opened up the whole room and made it feel twice as big. Then, I asked myself, “what am I going to do with this blank wall?”

The next day I got these gorgeous sconce lights from LNC Home. I will link them here, they are the Swing Arm Sconce- Champagne. I actually let Amelia pick out which sconce lights she wanted from LNC Home and she chose these. I was secretly hoping she was going to pick these because they are gorgeous. I love how they pop against the white wall. A little over a weed ago we found this adorable puppy original artwork from the thrift store. I love the look of artwork under a pretty sconce. To hide the cords I ended up putting these two shutters below the artwork, and it worked perfectly.
