This home was a God send. When we first were looking into buying a new home we wanted something very affordable, and something that we could “fix up” to make our own. I loved the home we were in, it was wonderful and I loved our neighborhood, but something about it just never felt like it was mine. I think because we had bought it from a company who flips houses and and they had already painted everything, changed the flooring, changed the windows, etc. we didn’t have to do anything to the home and I think that’s what made it feel like it wasn’t ours, it wasn’t our style. It was beautiful though! The fact that we get to paint everything in our new home and do some fun projects to update the spaces is honestly my favorite part about this house.
We get to make this house our own! You will see what I mean when I start sharing the photos next. Remember that when you are looking for a new home try to incision what the home would feel like if you painted or did a minor adjustment to things. Paint is seriously amazing, and can easily transform a space.
Alright! Enough chit chat, here are the before photos of our new home.
Kitchen
We have already done so much to our kitchen so I’m going to do a kitchen update on the next blog. My plan is to do a kitchen series so I can share the process.
Living Room
Guest Bathroom
There is a little bit of our new home. The photos are not the best and make it look worse than it actually is. The bones are all solid and the spaces are great so I know we will have this ship turned around in no time. We have a lot of painting to do. Once we paint I think it will open up everything tremendously and really brighten the spaces. This is a three bedroom, two bathroom home. I am super grateful for it, and I can not wait to share how we transform these spaces with you guys!
