Hey guys, its me, Adele. I have a passion for decorating, but man my pocket book just won’t allow some things. And you know what, I am okay with that. I have found ways to go around that “problem” and figure out affordable ways to decorate my home in a way that I feel proud of it.
One of the affordable ways I’ve found to decorate my home is thrifting. Thrift shopping is amazing! You truly never know what you are going to find when you walk into that treasure trove. aka the thrift store. You also never know what price they are going to put on things. It seems like it totally depends on whoever is marking the prices that day if they are feeling nice or not. I like it when they are feeling nice.
My latest Thrift Flips are these beautiful wooden frames here with my new prints from Brynne Decor Prints in them. I went to the thrift store and snagged a couple frames that I felt had some character to them. They were each around $2.99. Then I used my new prints and put them in the frames. Prints are also a super inexpensive item to add to your home, but they pack a mighty punch. They completely transformed the feeling of this space. There sweet messages are so appreciated here.
For the design of this space I wanted to use a variety of woods and whites. So I shopped my home and used the items to add several layers here. I couldn’t help but add some pops of spring with the terra cotta pots on the mug rack, and my large spring picture.
I hope you guys feel encouraged that you can do things with your home with a little amount of money. If you are feeling stuck in a rut trying finding some frames from the thrift store and find a few prints that really speak to you that you can add to them.
After you make your beautiful and inexpensive new home decor item I would absolutely love to see it in your home. Feel free to tag me in your photo on Instagram or send it to me in a message.
