I am so glad I decided to move our coffee bar to the sunroom, one of the main bonuses was that I was able to put all of my beautiful mum’s around it.
Another bonus was that I was able to maximize the usage of our sunroom. Maximizing the usage of my homes space is very intriguing to me right now.
I heard somewhere that most people only use about 60% of their homes, but we still have to pay for the heating and cooling in those unused spaces. So it got me thinking about if that were true for me or not. Unfortunately, it is very accurate. We barely use the formal dining room and the formal living room, and honestly we don’t use the sunroom that often either. It’s not that I don’t love these spaces, it’s just that in our every day routine we usually don’t use those spaces.
I wish we used our sunroom more often because it was one of the selling points for our new house so I decided to do something about it. I ended up moving our coffee bar into the sunroom and now we use this room daily. It is also a nice change from having the coffee station on our kitchen counter. Moving it out here really cleared up a lot of precious counter space for our kitchen.
Coffee bars are one of my favorite areas to style. I just think they are so fun because you can switch them up every season. Below I am going to provide you with some items that you can purchase to create your own coffee bar. Or shop around and find what works for you.
I found this wood table at a garage sale for $2. I bought that thing quicker than I used to grab Rae Dunn and put it into my cart when I found it. If you know anything about how Rae Dunn hunting used to be like then you know, that’s quick. It was the only thing we found that from a garage sale, but I was o’okay with that. I knew exactly what I wanted to do with it when I found it, too. It is just the perfect size for a coffee bar. How gorgeous are these Sweet Mint Handmade fall mugs. I love them so much! They are just too cute, and I seriously love the handle on them. That sounds weird, but seriously they are so easy to hold. I seriously can’t get over how gorgeous these stamped spoons are from my friend Daisy Love Daisy Sunday she makes the most beautiful wood and metal spoons.I have been hoarding this beautiful Fresh Brewed Coffee Self Serve sign from Pine and Prairie Design they have a ton of beautiful sings in their shop. It make my day when I figured out how to display it right here, it was the final touch to the coffee bar area. I also used their signs in Amelia’s Fall Bedroom Refresh.Overall I am really happy with this switch up of spaces. I am thinking about how to maximize the usage of the other spaces in my home now. I would really love to see how you guys maximize the usage of your spaces.
