As the weather starts to cool down, I tend to want to make my home extra warm and cozy. Give me all the fall vibes. I love a good fall ambiance. You know those homes when you walk in you just want to go and sink in the couch, listen to the fire crackle, smell the pumpkin spice fall candle, and cover up with a blanket. Then you have those homes you walk into and they make you want to go home. ; ) I’ve learned over the years that just by adding a few simple and inexpensive cozy pieces to my home it can bring those warm and cozy fall vibes in. I tend to not go too crazy with fall decor, and I am always looking for inexpensive fall decor ideas. Well, these five items I have found bring the fall vibes but are still inexpensive.
Here are five ways to make your home extra cozy for fall, and five options to choose from for each category.

Candles
Candles are the first thing I buy when a season changes. For fall I either love a nice apple cider candle, or a pumpkin spice candle. I mean I won’t pass up any candle that smells like something is baking in the oven. Candles always make a house feel instantly cozy! These ones here are some of my favorites!
Throw Blankets
The second thing I do is grab a nice cozy throw for our couch and for all of our beds. I could snuggle up in a fuzzy soft blanket ALL DAY! I like to use throw blankets as a way to incorporate some pattern or texture into a space. This fall I picked up a blue plaid blanket and it has completely changed my fall decor. I never would have thought that I would have loved the color and the pattern as much as I do. So, sometimes with throw blankets I branch out and try a new pattern because it is an inexpensive way to test out if I like the pattern, color, or texture. How warm and cozy do these ones look though!
Seasonal Plants/Flowers
When a new season starts I always look around for natural pieces I can bring inside and use for decor. This can be flowers, acorns, leaves, branches, wild flowers, etc. This is a great way to bring the season indoors, but hey, its absolutely free! Woohoo! So go wild with this one. I just went and cut off four limbs off of our tree in the front yard because some of the leaves are starting to turn red and orange, it just added that fall touch my tablescape needed. If you can’t find anything around your yard that looks like you might want to bring it inside, sometimes I check Lowe’s or Walmart’s garden section. They usually have plants on sale. Walmart carries little mums for $1 a pieces. I just bought five of them, I really had to contain myself from buying them all!!
Add A Coffee and Hot Chocolate Bar
It is so convenient to have a coffee bar and a hot chocolate bar. Nothing says warm and cozy more than a warm mug of coffee or hot chocolate. I like to have this readily available for anyone who may need it. We use our coffee bar daily. I also love to have it for when guests come over, it’s nice to not have to hassle over making coffee when it is just right there ready to be used.
Add Fall Signs
There are so many amazing small shop makers out there that come up with the most adorable fall sign ideas. I have several different fall signs that I get so excited to pull out every fall.
I hope these five selections and options will help you in finding some great new fall decorations to make your home feel nice and cozy for fall.
Being a mom, I hope that everything I do to decorate for fall will become a tradition in my fall decor, and that one day my daughter, Amelia, will get excited for the tradition of the fall decor as much as I do. I know I was always excited for the seasons to change to see what my mom had in store for the decor. Traditions like this really make a house a home. I always want my family and our friends to enjoy coming over to our home, and I always want them to feel comfortable and cozy. These five items have really helped me to achieve my goal, and I know they can help you achieve your hosting goals too. I hope these five selections and options will help you in finding some great new fall decorations to make your home feel nice and cozy for fall.
